Make an Appointment

The CLAS Academic Services Center recommends that students schedule an appointment with an advisor so that their specific needs can be addressed. We also encourage students who require a dean's signature for a form to schedule an appointment with the Center.

To schedule an appointment, please call 860-486-2822.

How To Prepare for Your Appointment

If you are a current student seeking advising for a subsequent semester, please contact your advisor of record for guidance. If you are having difficulties connecting with your advisor, please make an appointment with an advisor in the CLAS Academic Services Center.

If you are a student on probation, warning, or retained on a successful dismissal appeal, please schedule an appointment with an advisor in the Center. Please also complete your Academic Success Plan in the Scholastic Standing Portal prior to your appointment. For other questions or concerns, please contact the Center for guidance at 860-486-2822.

More Options

Appointments

During the academic year/summer, please call the office at 860-486-2822 to schedule an appointment. The Center hosts in-person, phone, and virtual appointments using the Webex platform. If you choose to make a virtual appointment, you will receive a Webex meeting invite to your UConn email prior to the meeting. Please use this invite to meet with your advisor.

Drop-In Appointments

During the academic year/summer, we ask that students make an appointment to discuss their academic issues. Advisors will be available throughout the semester and during the summer.  You may drop in to meet with someone but we cannot guarantee an advisor will be available to meet with you when you arrive. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment if you must meet with an advisor in person to discuss your options. Students on probation, warning, or retained/readmitted from dismissal must make an appointment to review their academic standing.
